Malibu resident since 1961, Paul Major started Major Landscape, Inc. in 1977 and has since completed hundreds of projects in the Malibu area. Specializing in custom residential projects, his works range from full custom development to restoration and preservation. As a licensed landscape contractor, Paul provides clients with the highest degree of expertise in all landscaping fields, including design, installation, water wise irrigation and drainage systems, edible gardens, lighting and outdoor living.
In addition to Paul's residential work, he has completed numerous public projects for the City of Malibu, including the renovation and restoration of grounds and irrigation at the Adamson House Museum, Malibu High School, Santa Monica High School, Webster Elementary, Juan Cabrillo Elementary, and more recently, Pepperdine University. Paul has also volunteered his time to design, plan and construct the local Malibu Community Center Park. In addition to project oriented work, Major Landscape, Inc. also provides businesses and residences with an experienced maintenance team for monthly property upkeep.
Major Landscape, Inc. has received multiple awards including "Best in All Categories Sweepstakes Award" and "Best Use of Color" by the California Landscape Contractors Association. Paul has served as Vice-President of CLCA for many years and currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Point Dume Community Service District as President.
